The beginning
This stud was established 11 years ago when looking for a harness mare I bought Barnon Imprial Jack, just saw him trotting down the hill and said I will have him hence the stud was started. Then came the selection of mares this I was very particular with, as I was looking for line I particularly liked (synod william), I puchased a mare from Wingana stud then a filly from Bookra (manly Wingana breeding) so with these 2 mares was the beginning, I also had a TB mare to put to Jack as well. Later on I also saw a filly I just had to have "Burrowa Ladylight Express".
Preformance in short
Jack had his first outing as a yearling at Melbourne royal where he was champion sec D exhibit then went on the next week to the Vic All Welsh where he was champion once again. This was the beginning of times to come as we done so well in breed classes as well as in the open ring. As every one would know whenever he was taken out we where asked "what was he, a half draft?" and the old timers would say when I was young there were alot of these around!!!! Jack since has been broken to saddle as well as harness, but saddle is his thing especially in pony dressage, welsh hunter, working hunter and the height of his acheviements was winning champion welsh show or working hunter st Barostoc 2004. A job well done by his new owner and old rider Norm Clark from Tatura.
Then came his babies
His Babies Came along , they are (what I have retained) "Fluer de Lys Hamish" Multi supreme Led in open company as well as at welsh shows winning his 2 year old Futurity, and as a mature pony of 4 a Multi Champion in Harness in open company as well as at breed shows Hamish was Best Youngstock of NSW for the 3 years he was able to be!! Then came "Fluer de Lys Hollyhock" Hamish's full sister, she has had Multi best sec C youngstock as well as winning her 2 year old futurity she I now is embarking on a saddle career, getting ready for the sporting pony registery as well as the show ring and pony dressage championships in September in Sydney. She will be Leased to Kasey Tozer for the next 2 years.
Next was my other family who I was so lucky to come by out of Acheron Dol (she was a difficult breeder) by Barnon Imperial Jack . "Fluer de Lys Jack Daniel", Daniel has had a very quiet career he has very limited outings but has always been in the broad ribbons, winning his futurity as well as best sec D" youngstock for 2 years out of 3. Daniel is currently in training to be taken to the sporting pony registry as well as the pony dressage in September in Sydney. His full sister Burowa River Dol was only shown from a 2 year old, winning her 2 year old futurity, but has had great sucess with broad ribbon where ever she goes, the highlight of this showing this season was at Canberra national capital show where she placed 2nd in a Led Open Galloway class. We have several other that have done well but these 4 are the favorites.

What has been happening of late up to 2007
In the past couple of years I have been very slack and not up dated the news so I will try to remember what has gone on of late. The big news is that myself and a friend have imported a sec D colt from NZ. His name is Arawa Commando [see in stallions]he will be an asset to my breeding programme.
We have had 5 foals this season but poor Bookra Abby Road was unfortunate to loose hers with a broken leg . The other are doing well all photos are in the foals page . Daniel has done an exceptional job with his babies all very nice and very like Daniel. Daniel has just started to be ridden seriously and was entered for the Nationals as well as the autumn Feature show . At the National he was first sec D stallion and first ridden sec C or D stallion and first ridden working hunter, not bad for just 3 months back in work. Then on sunday he was champion section D stallion and champion working hunter as well as this he placed well in everything he went in.
Thanks to Norm Clark and Julie Tozer this wouldn't be possible as he has been staying with them while Norm has been training him.
It is with reget that I have had to make a decision about the ponies as I have been sick so have decided that I should sell some stock as well as Pen-nant saphire she will be missed but I need to cut down.
This year Wingana Hint of Honey had a very late colt foal who is stunning he is very much like his full sister who is with Dee and Laurie White in Sydney to be shown. He will be forsale when weaned to a special home or I may even consider a lease . FDL Mamalade gave us a palomino colt after a long time waiting for her to foal. He is very eye catching with all his white legs and nice blaze on his face. Sophie gave me a buckskin filly just what I had ordered from her she is just stunning and I am hoping no one buys her so i can run her on.
I leased a mare from sue and Ace Coughlan Burrowa Flash Mandy she had a colt foal;which has been sold on to WA. I am sure he will do well for his new owners.
FDL Hasmish has been with Ash and Marg Cato on lease . He has embarked on a saddle career after having such sucess in harness . He stands at tatura Fluer de Lys jack daniel will be standing at stud here and at Tatura
July 2007. FDL Hollyhock has returned from Maureen Scotts , she will be put in foal this year to Arawa Commando as well to give the grandchildren something to ride.
